Mosquitoes
Female mosquitoes are the ones responsible for biting. Once they have obtained a blood meal, it is enough for them to produce numerous eggs. The development of mosquito larvae depends on the presence of water, as they require it to live and feed. Therefore, eliminating standing water found near structures can significantly decrease mosquito-related issues. Mosquitoes tend to be most prevalent during the spring, summer, and fall seasons, as long as the weather remains relatively mild. Cold winters, however, can have an impact on the population size during the following spring.
